I remembered what that felt like yesterday evening.  It is all of the 3rd time this year going to the gym.  If you’ve read these blogs long enough you’ll know that between all the weeks of sickness we’ve had, it’s no surprise.

I wanted to work out last night to feel good.  It wasn’t for a smaller waist size.  I want the better fitting clothes to be a perk or a plus.  I want the energy and overall wellbeing to be the main benefit.  That’s what initially motivated me years ago.  When it turns into vanity, it’s doomed to fail, for me at least.

Our priorities and schedules have changed up and we’ve taken steps to fit fitness in where it can.  We got a set of cast iron dumbells at home now.  Pound per pound they’re old school workhorses of strength training.  I love them because they don’t feel flimsy or breakable.  In LRussia, dumbell blreaks YOU!  That plus walking at lunch a couple of times a week plus a couple of heart pumping cardio workouts will go a long way.

Exercise also has the benefit of easing my anxiety.  That alone is reason enough.

We’re all gaining our health back but this first week of the new year has been rather, hmm, blargh?

Dinner was great last night and we topped it off with a little treat of sweets.  That was our reward for surviving the week.  I really wanted to end the evening with some WoW but none of my friends were online and WoW with no friends isn’t very ‘wow’ at all.  I ended up just laying down and calling it a night.

I did find a person in Peachtree City selling some dumbells for mega cheap.  Waiting to hear back from them.  Having workout equipment at home usually doesn’t work but I’ve found that I actually use dumbells.  You just pick them up and go to town.  No set up required!

Lastly, something a little odd.  I was reading the ingredients on our coffee creamer and noticed it contains titanium dioxide.  TO2 is a very strong reflective white pigment.  It’s added for color.  So, right now, I’m drinking TO2 laced coffee!
