  • The Internet is Magic

Posted on June 6th, 2008 admin No comments

It finally dawned on me today that I am doing it all wrong.  I came to a few conclusions regarding how things get done on the Internet.

    1. Websites build themselves with no input whatsoever
    2. Photos resize themselves
    3. Websites will also update themselves periodically
    4. They randomly generate their own internal content but you have to wait for it to happen.  The odds are somewhere in the gajillion range.  I guess all the existing rich content website owners got lucky.
    5. Al Gore was going to write a book called “The Internet is Magic” but now he’ll have to pay me rights, even though he invented the Internet!
    6. You can host a website from your home PC.  Go ahead and link everything to your desktop.  It will be ok.
    7. Animate GIFs are better than bacon.
    8. Hidden MIDI files coupled with animated GIFs is better than bacon coupled with more bacon.
    9. The Internet actually invented itself… and bacon.
    10. Excessive amounts of bacon mentioning warrants awarding this post with ‘teh best post of teh day’ award.

Another good day.   Ate well.  Gymmed well.  I’ve done interval cardio for three days in a row now. I know that’s not exactly the best thing.  Until my shoulder heals I’m staying away from strength training my upper body.  Probably another week or so I might start on it real lightly.
